Lapland Chamber Music Festival

The Lapland Chamber Music Festival is a new event, first held in 2019. The festival offers a diverse range of high-quality chamber music concerts in Inari and the surrounding areas.

The theme for 2024 is “Kuvitteelliset tilat – Fictional Spaces.” The program takes us through the atmospheres of three different spaces via music. Concerts will be held at the Saariselkä Chapel and the churches of Ivalo and Inari from September 5-7, 2024. The festival will feature Swedish violinist Cecilia Zilliacus, Swiss cellist Joël Marosi, and accordionist Janne Rättyä. The visual artist of the year is Merja Aletta Ranttila from Inari.
