Exploring Bach – Video Concert
As one of the hubs of experimental chamber music in Finland, the Lapland Chamber Music Festival, established in 2019, endeavours to provide audiences with the opportunity to enjoy performances of world-renowned artists. This year’s virtual concert thus proudly presents a Bach concert featuring excerpts from Tobias Lenel´s film Capriccio and visual art by Bridget Allaire and Wolfgang Semmelrock. Harri Mäki (clarinet) and Janne Rättyä (accordion) explore the artistic possibilities the combination of their instruments affords them when playing works by Bach and Bach inspired pieces by Henri Dutilleux, Peter Ablinger and Anders Hillborg.
